This is the key to writing an effective blog post for SEO. You need to understand which keywords and keyword phrases to use to rank highly in the SERPs.

While putting specific keywords and keyword phrases in the body of your blog post, equally important is the main keyword to be present in your title. This allows premier search engines to recognize your blog post as something relevant to a particular keyword being searched. As such, strive to be as descriptive as you possibly can in the title of your blog post. As much as possible avoid vague language. When you write a blog post, always write for your ideal customers. You have to appeal to them. You have to write something that best reflects how your target customers will be searching for the product that you are offering. In other words, you have to know your customers by heart.

The very first paragraph of your blog post should be keyword-rich. Search engines will only be scanning the initial paragraph of any blog post. If your keywords are not present in the opening paragraph, or contains a set of keywords that is totally different from your title, then you run the risk of losing the SEO game.

Whatever your title says, make sure to deliver it in the content. So if you promised 5 best chew bones, then you should be able to provide 5 chew bones in the body. You need to strive for user engagement.

Moreover, try to use every bit of SEO tool you can for each blog post that you create. Make sure to organize them in their proper categories or even subcategories. Make sure your meta-tags are keyword-rich as well. And finally, don’t forget to add several tags in your blog post’s description.
